ARE CLASSES CANCELED DUE TO SNOW OR OTHER INCLEMENT WEATHER?
Please call the StrollerFit class hotline (317-842-8817) by 8AM the day of class to see if class will be canceled. We will normally cancel class only if Noblesville Schools are having a snow day.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
StrollerFit is designed for Moms who have had their post-partum check-up and are cleared by their doctor. Dads, Grandparents, Nannies, or anyone with a stroller age child is also welcome.
CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I AM PREGNANT?
Yes, once you have consulted your doctor and you are cleared to excercise. Remember to always listen to your body. Drink plenty of water.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?
* Water for mom/caregiver and baby
* Exercise mat or towel for floor exercises
* Snack and toy for baby
* Dress in comfortable clothes and shoes
(cross trainers)
DOES MY BABY NEED TO BE A CERTAIN AGE?
All babies from 6 weeks old and up are welcome!
DO I NEED A SPECIAL STROLLER?
No, any sturdy stroller that isn't prone to tipping will work.
*Umbrella strollers are not recommended*
WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES DURING CLASS?
Don't worry babies will cry. These stroller fitness classes are designed to stimulate and entertain the babies with music and games. If your little one beomes upset please take some time to tend to their needs and rejoin class when you are both ready.
WILL I BE ABLE TO KEEP UP IF I HAVEN'T EXERCISED RECENTLY?
Yes, stroller fitness classes are designed for all exercise levels so you can work at your own pace. Instructors can help you determined your fitness level.
WHAT CAN EXPECT FROM A STROLLERFIT CLASS?
Classes are approximately 50 minutes including warm-up, strengthening, aerobics, stretching and cool-down using exercise bands, resistance tubing and your stroller.
