FAQ's
DO I NEED A SPECIAL STROLLER?
No, almost any stroller will work as long as it is not prone to tipping. We do not recommend "umbrella" strollers.

WHAT AGE SHOULD MY CHILD BE?
All children from 6 weeks and up are welcome. My 3 year old still comes to class with me and loves it!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
Please bring water for yourself and a snack and/or toy for your baby. Also, a blanket or towel is helpful for floor exercises.

WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES DURING CLASS?
No problem-we've all been there. Instructors will try to keep the kiddos happy with games and songs but baby always comes first so feel free to stop and feed or tend to your baby. You can rejoin class when your both ready again.

IS CLASS CANCELLED DUE TO SNOW/RAIN?
I will post a message on the website and change my outgoing phone message if class is cancelled or moved indoors.
SNOW: During the winter, StrollerFit will follow the decision of the public school system of the town in which classes are held. If schools are closed or delayed more than one hour, class is cancelled. RAIN: We do have access to indoor locations in most situations, and exercise is a great reason to get out of the house on a lousy day! If there is no indoor location, we will have class if it is raining lightly, but will cancel for serious rain or thunderstorms.

The class is a mat based class that focuses on form in order to stabilize the muscles of the core. We will work on tightening all the muscles of the core, including the abdominal muscles, hamstrings, glutes, and thighs. We will pay particular attention to the transverse abdominus which is the deepest muscle in the abdomen and the key to tightening up the lower belly region that gets stretched during pregnancy. I cannot believe the incredible strides in strength and toning made by the moms in the class. It truly is a transformative class-I hope you can join us!
